Pros

I would say wfh, but then after hiring they told us they actually expect us to come into the office as much as possible.

Cons

What a mess, from the very first week I realized I should continue applying to other jobs. By far worst sales culture and management I've ever seen. We were literally told we weren't working hard enough unless we were holding our pee -the manager said it without a hint of sarcasm or jest... If you fall behind on your goals due to covid - good luck catching back up, they'd rather put you on a PIP and hire another rep (no wonder they have trouble keeping any new sales people - my whole class left within 90 days). No one here is happy, even the reps making the most money just looked miserable and sad every morning. We were also pressured to not take lunch breaks (which violates federal law). So unless you want zero work life balance, rude micromanagers, and prefer to look at virtually 2-3 different website designs all day, I'd highly recommend you look elsewhere for a sales career.

Pros

Coworkers are fantastic. Remote environment.

Cons

Work life balance is severely lacking, considering the remote environment. Pay is significantly below market value. Leadership on the CS side is so bad. The CTO encourages ICs to work on weekends and nights but there is no incentive to do so and frankly we shouldn't have to. The product needs a lot of work and as wonderful as the product team is, they, like the rest of us, do not have the support and bandwidth they need. This company is prioritizing the wrong things and the brand is suffering as a result.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed working with your team— our people are a key part of what makes Luxury Presence great. We understand that work-life balance is a critical aspect of the employee experience, especially in a remote setting where boundaries can be more challenging to maintain. We deeply value curiosity and a drive to grow, which is why our leadership often encourages team members to explore learning and development opportunities beyond the regular workday—but we’re always clear that this is entirely optional. This year, we introduced a quarterly review cycle to allow for more frequent check-ins, clearer expectations, and stronger support for employee growth. It also gives us the opportunity to recognize and reward top performers—those who consistently go above and beyond—on a more regular basis. These team members, who are eager to learn and grow with the company, embody the growth mindset we aim to foster across the organization.

Pros

PTO, Bonus and SOME colleagues were great.

Cons

Challenges: While the company has provided a platform for growth, several systemic issues undermine employee morale and productivity: 1. Favoritism and Lack of Meritocracy: Promotions and recognition appear based on personal connections rather than performance, causing hard workers to feel undervalued. 2. Management Disconnect: The new leadership focuses more on metrics than employee well-being, making employees feel like replaceable assets rather than valued team members. 3. Discrimination Concerns: Signs of unequal treatment suggest potential biases in leadership. Although the company claims to be an equal opportunity employer, practices seem to contradict this. 4. Toxic Practices: Harassment and nitpicking are used as tools to push out employees, contributing to a hostile work environment. 5. Unhelpful HR Department: HR appears more focused on protecting the company rather than addressing legitimate employee concerns.
