By far the strangest, most inefficient and completely convoluted method of record keeping I have ever witnessed. Your day is spent typing things into databases, printing them, taking that same info to someone else to type into another database, tyen printing that and filing it in 7 different places, including a scanned copy in the computer. You will spend your day fixing margins and formatting, and trying to make sense of the horrific filing system, and wondering how such a successful company can even function. You will probably tear up a few times. The first month was described to me as, "terrifying" and apparently people just don't come back after a few days. It is the nicest job I have ever detested, and if they paid me double, I would still run away screaming. I cannot wrap my head around how awful the work is and how disorganized the company is.

okay..first the new HQ building is infested with bugs. obviously m3 forgot to pretreat the soils with pesticide prior to building on the site. the small beetles are in all the books papers desks..everywhere! yuck! second, the sun exposure is horrible. in the morning it is hard to work at your computer due to the glare and in the summer the whole office is extremely hot and stuffy. the stairs in the center of the building have structural problems and when someone comes up the stairs the whole second floor shakes... the HR program and company leadership is awful, they cannot make a decision to save their lives and when they finally do it takes them 3 times longer than it should, and the decision is usually wrong. the construction management program is very weak. it seemed to me that they were always confused and due to this fact costed the clients money. guys...stick with what you do well (engineering). please do not try to play GC, as it is obvious you have no actual contractors on staff to lead the program. stuck on stupid certifications. okay, if you are a P.E. , R.L.S., MBA etc...that is worjt making a big show about, but who cares about PMP or CCM?? these are just empty certs of organizations trying to get money, and M3 really buys into this nonsense.
