Pros
There's a big effort to make sure the employees get to know one another and socialize, the company pays for lunches, snacks and outside the office parties.
Cons
A lot is going on here. On the surface, they want you to think they're a start-up, but this place is extremely corporate from internal language to cliques. They have had 3 rounds of layoffs that I'm aware of in the past year. Whether they're financially unstable or just make odd personnel decisions, be warned things shift around quite a bit. I would also add that I experienced a lack of direction in my department, and then verbal lashings on more than one occasion (from more than one boss) when the direction that was decided on was not what they wanted. The dynamic is stressful to say the least.
