Pros

I had a great experience at MGAC. It was my first job out of college, and I worked there for close to 7 years. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience to launch me into my career. The talented staff and accessibility of senior leadership made for a great learning opportunity for a young employee. I’m appreciative of the unique, interesting, and challenging projects that I worked on. I’m also grateful for the complexity of responsibilities that were given to me at such a young age, along with the senior support to ensure success. I received meaningful feedback and consistent raises/promotions. The 401(k) and benefits cannot be beat.

Pros

Great People. Collaborative Environment. MGAC staff treats it's employees and customers with professionalism and respect. MGAC strongly believes in its people. MGAC leads the industry in diversity for not only it's staff, but the community at large.

Cons

Headquarters in Downtown Washington DC. Have to deal with the DC area traffic!

Pros

MGAC is a great firm with a fantastic culture. The boutique culture is definite plus for those who don’t want to be just a number. The CEO really does a great job of making sure that his employees feel valued. And, if one is looking for growth opportunities in various segments of the CRE industry, this is place.

Cons

MGAC is a great firm. But, no company is perfect. The different sectors often operate in silos instead of working together and lack cohesiveness. While that does not effect the typical employee, it can often effect those who are responsible for portfolio growth opportunities.
