      Pros

      The people are very nice.

      Cons

      Using outdated technology everywhere. Sort of a time warp. Software from 1983 being used everyday, and I'm not kidding. To get anything updated or changed is nearly impossible. Their attitude is "if it worked 25 years ago, it should be fine."

      Pros

      Most employees have been with the company for a very long time. MGE tries to make a positive work environment. The jobs are stable. Benefits are good, stock options, a very nice 401k match and some very nice people to work with.

      Cons

      This is a very old company that does things the way they've always been done. MGE is not on the cutting edge of technology and has no plans of moving in that direction. While most of the employees are pleasant, its a very stodgy atmosphere.
