Pros

- First job - Co-workers are great, helpful, and go through the same think you do so they feel your pain.

Cons

- Poor Management - High Turnover of employees. - No good open door with management to discuss outstanding work issues. - Promoting is not based on hard-work or talent. - Strict, stressful atmosphere - Pay below average. - No training. - No truth in you from your management

Pros

THE Leading company in IT-Hospitality. You will come to know a lot of stuff about the best PMS & POS products around. The revenue will keep growing. Could be a lot better though.

Cons

Favoritism, not enough training, pay is under the industry average, if you want to leave a department for another one when the time comes, they will try to keep you for as long as possible. No one from management will congratulate you if you do a good job.

Pros

If you need a paycheck, they have a paycheck.

Cons

- management is terrible and stuck in high school behavior; employees who stay more than one year believe that they are stuck. Job pays far below the industry average. The job does not provide quality training, nor does it support promoting qualified employees (unless you are eating lunch with the boss). The job does not provide training that is able to be used in other IT enviorments. The name looks good on your resume, but after 60 days, you will want another job.

Pros

1. All employees pretty much get laptops with accessible webmail. 2. Work hours are 9-5. 3. You can dress very comfortably everyday.

Cons

1. This place has extremely high turnover in all positions and all knowledge gained walks out the door as very little is ever documented. 2. They can't keep people and can't get them in fast enough to replace the ones who leave so there is a lot put on those who remain. 3. There is no training for the individual to keep their skills sharp. 4. People are often given no backups so when you are out on vacation, you are still expected to be available "on-call. 5. People at all levels are very involved and are expected to manage clients. This means there is no time for management, leadership or mentoring.

Pros

There are enough calls coming in and they are varied enough to keep the day moving pretty quickly. My particular team is usually supportive and friendly, which lends itself to a generally pleasant working atmosphere. You get about a month of training (2 weeks classroom style, about two weeks shadowing/working with a more experienced employee while taking calls), so you end up fairly well prepared. It's a good salary for an entry level job that doesn't require a degree.

Cons

It's customer support, so expect to get at least a few bad calls a week. It's also a 24/7 operation, so you'll probably work some holidays and at least one weekend a month. While people are friendly, morale is pretty terrible, since raises seem to be nearly nonexistent, among various other complaints. There is room to move around within the company, but I don't have high hopes for my salary to increase much at all, even if I can get promotions. There's no option to remote in for customer support and scheduling is pretty rigid.
