      Pros

      Huge wealth of resources, amazing people, a place unlike any other in the world. Really the premier university for higher learning in the world.

      Cons

      No serious communication between upper management and regular workers. Also, no real room for growth within. Most admins are externally hired, and don't always understand

      Pros

      Very stimulating environment, a lot of opportunities to learn about new discoveries, great reputation which is very helpful for transition to another job

      Cons

      Most people are introverts, work most of the time and are very individualistic, which can make it difficult to make friends

      Pros

      Incredibly egalitarian by pretty much any measure, at least in terms of aims and commitments. Very good benefits, including unusually good 401k matching. And, of course, just the sense of pride and the stimulating environment that comes with working at one of the world's most respected institutions.

      Cons

      Could be more accomodating of flexible time and sometimes work from home for those whose jobs would permit.
