Pros

Great people, Finance team leadership and morale was incredible. CEO turned an amazing vision into a fantastic reality.

Cons

From when I started to when I left the company, the culture had shifted quite a bit. Once MOD was a company that encouraged people to learn as much as you can and become a better well rounded professional, now it seems that if you aren't in a managerial position, you are pushed into a direction of the managements choosing with no vision for growth. This impacted a lot of younger employee's including myself who couldn't see a growing future within the company. It's understandable for a company with MOD's growth to shift more towards a corporate lifestyle and away from the old start up days but don't forget about your support center's employee's who want to grow with the company.

Pros

Get one free pizza which the manager watches over as its made to make sure you don't have 3 peices of chicken on

Cons

Extremely cheap quality meats and foods. Management is constantly breathing down your neck and taking their stress out on you. If you put a little too much of anything they come down on you hard. They claim to put the customer first but most of the time if you go and do what the customer wants you have one of the disorganised members of management getting angry at you because they lost total control over you. Honestly the worst job I've ever had. Management was a pain, system was disorganised, food lacking in quality, really stingy towards their employees, and withhold your paycheck. I got a job a week after quitting with less pay and somehow at the same hours managed to earn an extra hundred dollars a check. They with old your tips. I saw a manager give his buddy a 20 from the cash tips but me being new didn't get any. Terrible place

Thank you for your review. I am so sorry that this was your experience. Everything you have described is completely unacceptable and a horrible misrepresentation of what we stand for. I would like to address your concerns as soon as possible - if you would please contact us directly at hr@modpizza.com, I would greatly appreciate having the opportunity to discuss these matters with you.

Pros

Good work/life balance, coworkers are easy to get along with, one free pizza per shift, medical benefits when working 25 or more hours.

Cons

Be ready to be sent home early pretty much every day if you work day shift. Be ready to be told that your best is not enough. GM tends to favor some people over others (seems to favor straight white Christian males/females over anyone else).
