Pros
The only pros I've found are the friends you make while working and the tolerance for BS that you eventually develop.
Cons
My store is routinely short staffed, we rarely get covers, and the DMs/RMs only help when the GM or AGM bug them to hell. So many veterans in the company are leaving because they've all had enough and I don't blame them, the pay is fairly decent but everyone agrees that the effort you need to put in to make the store operate properly. Not to mention all the new people who get put through training, the training is awful and I had to learn everything the hard way. People who I was hired alongside with still can't do some of the basics, I then have to show them or do it myself cause there's just no time. I am told often I basically do the job of a Captain and should become one, but I know it's a trap, even some of the Captains warned me that it's too much. They throw everything at you and you're responsible for things out of your control and you WILL have to overexert yourself (double shifts, take care of 4+ positions, constantly cover callouts resulting in 45+ hour works weeks, etc.)
