Salary was good, I made more than most people as I contributed more and worked whenever I was asked to. Easier to move up in bigger branches due to not being able to keep people.

Cons

When I first started it was a great place to work. Always had great team building events but as it transitioned from MRC Midfield to MRC Canada to MRC Global everything went down hill. It went from a place where everyone was a key component to everyone just being a numbered employee. A lot of great people have left due to this. They lost a lot of heart and soul people. Now everything is about safety, which I have no problem with, but they are taking it over board. Some of the new rules are pathetic. Won't be working with this company much longer.
