Pros

- Company Car with paid gas & Insurance - Ipad - IPhone There are some good people that work at the company. Built good relationships with customers as well.

Cons

You will not retire from this company. One of the 3 below will occur. 1.) You will find a better career and get out of this depressing environment. 2.) You will be fired from the company due to having a great previous year. 20% growth expectation year in and year out despite economic conditions. 3.) You will have a heart attack from the stress of dealing with 15 levels of middle management, the inside sales team & the outrageous List pricing of MSC.

Not what it once was.....

Pros

My co workers, the office surroundings, the benefit's were good.

Cons

No advancement after years of committed dedication to my position, I volunteered my own time for outside functions, was loyal and hardworking and hoped that I would never have to leave MSC, but the low pay, long hours and no advancement forced me to leave.. It always seemed as though there was the same people being promoted and the real associates who worked so hard were never even considered for advancement. My manager was inexperienced and never at her desk, countless days she left early or just never came in, and this went on with knowone saying a word. So many other departments complained of work not done and errors in her work, still she is there. I went to the HR dept and nothing was done, she actually promised me higher pay, and a promotion every year and I never received either. I applied for many positions and was told I wasn't qualified, when clearly I was. There are so many people there who thrive off the real workers and Erik does nothing! I had a person in my dept who had a business that they ran all day long I complained to my manager, she did nothing and I went to HR and they did nothing! I worked for Sid and this wouldn't be happening if he was still here, he promoted hard working associates, not just friends!!

Commission structure impossible to calculate

Pros

Company car. Insurance benefits. 401 K. Stock.

Cons

Too many products. Too many initiatives added monthly so making commission becomes very difficult. National accounts are negotiated by national sales manager and pricing is at a low GP that hurt your sales in other accounts each month.
