      Pros

      This non profit has a great mission. While I worked there, management regularly reminded workers that the work they did changed lives. This was encouraging and rewarding.

      Cons

      When they hire, they tend to low ball employees on salaries. They also will not increase your salary by more than 10% with a promotion. As such, a lot of talent uses this company to gain a couple years worth of experience before leaving for better opportunities elsewhere.

      Pros

      After gaining more industry experience, I would love to return one day!

      Cons

      I wish there was a formal telecommuting policy. The major reason for leaving was because I need to be able to work from home when necessary. I want my employer to be able to trust that I can get the work done, no matter where I am sitting . And I want then to have the infrastructure to support telecommuting.
