Pros

Large company, good benefits, option to work remote. Mostly good team mates. Company leadership is very interested in moving in the right direction and updating and transforming. Excited about this. Great direction.

Cons

Pockets of toxic management and favoritism and skewed reviews. Work life balance suffers horribly at times. No slack allowed for vacation planned for months. You are required to bill excessive hours over 40 to satisfy manager’s bonus goals. You are not allowed to honestly point out problems, because problems don’t exist. If you do Volunteer time you must make up your hours.

Pros

Smart colleagues Decent pay scale Flexible work arrangements

Cons

Insurmountable degree of constantly changing processes in the wake of edict to implement efficiencies Inability of Senior Management to pick a direction and execute any strategic decisions Constant organizational restructuring leading 401K one month after end of year deprives employees of financial growth and is at opposite time of year from bonus payout

Pros

Some outstanding hardworking insightful folks, but most of them left as intelligence and competence is not valued here.

Cons

A lack of integrity, last in class HR (spends most of their time covering up inappropriate behavior or their poor work), bad management (senior leaders "retire" overnight and are wiped clean from company websites on a regular basis), and unengaged employees who have been trained to keep quiet when millions are wasted on new initiatives or are told to enact plans that obviously have been drafted by folks who don't understand the technology, the particular business, or infrastructure. No one is in charge and so those who seize power make a mess of things.
