The upper level leaders at MacPractice is unable to articulate a long or short term road map of where it is headed. It is obvious that leadership does not agree or see eye to eye with one another and these upper level chaos in leadership is ultimately reflected into the product being shipped.
There has been a pay freeze that was enacted a few years ago for all employees that the administration does not acknowledge, bring up, discuss, or advertise.
Clients have been leaving the company at an alarming rate and the company responds with a knee jerk mantra that we need to develop more features to "sell more". The company will then spend its valuable resources creating features for a press release instead of dealing with its core issues. The result is a buggy piece of 10 year old software that has 10 years of features built onto it that few of MacPractice's employees are proud of.
Top down communication is abysmal. Several times the entire company has learned of a new feature or change in direction from a press release that the CEO sent out to clients.
