Run for the hills. I tell my friends not to come here!
Pros
*Good location *If you’re lucky, you’ll get a desk with a view *Big org so it’s likely you’ll make some real friends here
Cons
*Healthcare benefits: the tiny bonus and laughable raise do not compensate for the increased insurance premiums (the worst I’ve gotten from an employer) *Political battlefield with stakeholders. Don’t be fooled, the merchants and marketing still call the shots at this retailer *So many meetings that you’ll often find yourself working late at night to get real work done *Weak management. It’s corporate GoT and everyone is expendable *High turnover, mgmt spends the majority of time attempting to hire rather than focus on nurturing your career growth *WFH is restricted depending on the team you join and the level you rank, you are not treated equally *Don’t even expect to get more than 1 piece of fruit per week, tea bags and bad coffee. This ain’t a tech company silly! *Practically no HR dept (good luck with the 1 hr wait with the call center) and IT just got outsourced - so don’t even think about having an issue fixed in a timely manner
