Pros

A fast growing company that celebrates its wins and people without the "bro-culture". If you bring good ideas and hard work there are lots of things to get involved with. Very reasonable work/life balance vs. other companies I have been at. Great benefits.

Cons

A fast growth company means constant change and pivots of objectives. You'll need to be comfortable with that to fit in a be successful .

Pros

Benefits, location, interior, product education, job security

Cons

Not a very diverse workplace, does not receive feedback from staff well, their core values only apply for the senior staff, their culture only applies to senior staff, HR can be aggressive, I experienced racial micro-aggressions, uncomfortable place to work as a POC.

Pros

Great product, enthusiastic customers, smart coworkers, good benefits. The company really does have a lot of potential to succeed, when it finds the right market and speaks to them in a meaningful way.

Cons

People in key senior leadership positions lack the necessary vision and ability to lead effectively. If you are on the right team, with the right leader, you can make a difference here. If not, you may end up very frustrated. Cramped office space.

Pros

Promotes diversity, decent pay, great benefits & some managers are very supportive

Cons

Constant changes all the time, company is focused way more on their technology & not the actual color line, training is mostly virtual & not hands on, the appointments are rushed making Covid regulations tricky during busy times & pressure to sell memberships even if not in client’s best interest.

Pros

Amazing company values and mission, our CEO is working right alongside us, passionate and realistic, pushing and inspiring. Room for growth, trial and error, and career pathing. Free catered lunches every Monday and for events. Stocked kitchen. Working from home days. PTO. Education/experience fund. Commuter benefits and lyft safety rides. Lack of stagnancy— if it’s not working, we fix it- we reassess. Creative minds, passionate employees. Strong HR team that actively builds and plans events and team building.

Cons

Multiple meetings can be tiresome and redundant, and it seems as though we are working on that. Office location and space, lack of conference rooms. We are growing and might want to visit the idea of moving to the financial district.

Pros

Lots to learn - great place for young professionals looking to learn about how to operate a fast growing business. There is a sincere commitment to building the company culture based on the company values (Love, Joy, Courage, Trust, and Responsibility), but the actions often fall short of the commitments. CEO genuinely cares about the business and the people in the company. It shows in almost everything she says and does. Benefits are good - full medical/dental coverage. Stock options if you're lucky. HR team is super nice and really cares about the company - but it's sad how little resources they have to do their jobs (same across all areas though)

Cons

Coaching and feedback is minimal - development sometime feels like a buzzword but not an actual focus for most senior leaders in the company. Too many VPs (there are VPs for all possible areas) and not enough functional SMEs to help in the actual day to day work. CEO is driving the culture - without her there is no culture (I find this scary). Most C-team and VP level only care about revenue and not enough about the people. Too many ideas and not enough execution - C team doesn't understand the importance of strategic planning nor do they have a way to prioritize business initiatives. For a growing start-up there's little emphasis on planning, process, and tools. People just make decisions without understanding the long term impact, leaving lower level employees to handle the execution without support. Sometime you feel like you are set up to fail. Most leaders are short term focused and not enough senior leaders with vision setting and operations experience to make the long range strategy come to life.
