Pros
You'll get to work with really smart people The technology and problem spaces you'll work in are fascinating Pay and benefits were great but not worth the stress and personal chaos that will ensue.
Cons
Management is an absolute disaster. I've never seen an organization that is so poorly run. What's the opposite of focus - that's what happens every single day at Magic Leap. You'll work your face off on a specific problem only to have direction changed at the last minute. Few things make sense, and decision making around pretty much everything ultimately comes from the top down. At the end of the day, clearly employees are completely dispensable. The core values are nifty talking points, but everything the CEO says is hollow in the face of his recent actions.
