Pros

They are a good starting place for a job, and the people I met along the way are amazing.

Cons

The pay hasn't jumped since 2022. The culture of caring is very cult like, and frankly is not very well practiced. There are better paying employers, and the benefits are not really benefits. You are better off going third party on most of them.

Working for a company that profits off of the prison system. LOL

Cons

They are very poor at hiring resulting in incompetent leadership/management. Working at a Job Corps site and while the students all have several days off for Christmas, like any other educational institution, Job Corps education/academic staff still must come to work with little to nothing to do, or can do at home since there are no students there. And some positions require a teaching license meaning you could work at a regular institution and get paid for summer and holidays while at home and possibly make more money.
