Pros

The internship program at The Manhattan Institute was so rewarding! I got to do such cool policy research, had weekly lectures from senior staff in the office who gave us valuable advice and encouragement, and participated in an intern debate around urban policy. I learned so much and had a great experience!

Cons

It was more conservative-leaning than I expected but I definitely was encouraged to look at various points of view

Pros

Helpful/kind staff, insightful scholars, meaningful work, opportunities for development and taking on other roles.

Cons

Not ideal for someone who requires constant oversight. You need to be a self-starter/entrepreneurial to succeed here.
