Pros

Lots of young folks getting started in their careers.

Cons

It's owned by a family and nearly all family members work there. While the worker bees work away, the family members take endless PTO, make more money and use company money for things like airfare for personal, unrelated travel. It breeds a culture of privilege for some and resentment for others, especially considering that they exploit young talent by paying very little. Annual cost of living raises will never catch up to the true worth of their employees' skills, meaning talent leaves quickly for greener pastures.

Great Mindset and Intentions, Still Held Back by Old Habits

Pros

Innovative software development is setting the future stage for this company. Moving towards a 21st century management mindset and becoming a SaaS provider. Leadership listens and is open to new ideas on how to solve problems.

Cons

Accountability for solving problems and adhering to agreed upon processes can be spotty. Some are not very receptive to change and communication is still a struggle for some managers. PTO is not great compared to other software companies (still old school of thought).
