Pros

3 shifts available for nurses----no other assisted living facilities have 24 hour nurses gorgeous facilities----like being in a 5 star resort nurses work hand-in-hand with CNA's and together give great care MOST of the time

Cons

Favoritism in every level of the company Homophobia is an accepted practice and belief RACISM is perpetuated and accepted TERRIBLE PAY---TERRIBLE BENEFITS NOTHING in your employment can be considered guaranteed or a "given" superiors are working AGAINST you There is ZERO vested interest in your success as an employee BEWARE!!! ALL THAT GLITTERS ISNT GOLD! LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING!

Pros

- (initially) there was a "family-like" feel - Nursing Staff - Physically, it's an attractive facility

Cons

-The pay; no shift differentials -This is supposed to be an assisted living facility, yet they take in residents who belong in Nursing Homes -Lack of necessary supplies and devices -Favoritism is strong and noticeable -When I first started, there was strong emphasis on promoting with-in the company vs outside people...definitely not like that anymore

No accountability. No praise for hard workers

Pros

Really not anything except the ascetics of the building.

Cons

Management only recognizes lazy workers. Gives pay increases to those who threaten to quit. Too much of the top level management turnover. Executive director only worried about the bottom line and not the employees. Hiring process is way too long for positions that pay next to nothing. By the time they finally decide they want to hire someone, that person has already found another job.
