Pros
Marcum offers a great potential for diverse learning opportunities and developing basic skills in accounting, especially audit and tax. Staff and mid-level managers are great.
Cons
Pay sucks, even for public accounting, but the bigger problem is the lack of prospects for advancement once you move into supervisory roles. It's hard to get promoted to manager and nearly impossible to make partner. The partners are focused more on their own profits than sustaining the growth of mid-level management.
