Pros

They have so many opportunities to do good work.

Cons

The organization is led by three commissioners, which is too small of a number to be an effective legislative body. Thus, they end up playing the role of a legislative body AND competing executives. This mixed with a history of strong, micromanaging, even abusive commissioners creates an unhealthy and unproductive environment.

Pros

PERS, health benefits, nice benefits like any public organization

Cons

Shady management, No position hierachy, very aggressive and intimidating co-workers, Place is run like a jungle, programmers report to other programmers instead of managers/supervisors, senior co-workers don't want to do any work and dump any new work on junior hires. Meaning less meetings and very low morale in IT for the employees.
