Lots of opportunities to work with different types of technologies, as well as opportunities to work with other employees on projects.

Cons

Not a lot of opportunity to move between jobs, compensation isn't as high as I would like, management can be a little clueless.

Pros

Its a real community, with real goals and a real cause. Theres no question in what the goals are. Employees can take classes after 3 months (or 13 months if you are a student -> employee). It is a beautiful place to work -- people take care of the campus.

Cons

Pay is extremely low. Raises, although frequent, do not keep pace with either cost of living nor inflation. Many employees do not have the benefit of varied experience, and may not have enough perspective to make wise decisions.
