      Pros

      A very clicky company who only look out for each other if you have worked there since the dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Women Managers in particular have to stomp around to show their authority. Awful work atmosphere.

      Everything - awful job. Teams are very clicky and not inclusive at all

      Pros

      I am new to the organization about a month in and I have worked at a well known competitor for 7 years and never felt like a valued employee the way Markel cares and welcomes their employees. They are up to date with their system and resources and the team is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Higher ups care about their employees as individuals. I am extremely happy with my my transition to Markel and I see myself retiring. They have flexible work hours and a great bonus structure.
