Just a Job

Pros

Given the ability to work on multiple projects and held accountable for all of them. Steady work in a 24/7 environment. Large teams with a huge amount of responsibilities and challenges.

Cons

You barely get to know your supervisors or managers before they wise up and leave. Job titles do not match the amount of responsibility or accountability for the position. This enables the company to justify the pay range for the job title.

Pros

Decent pay. Union benefits.

Cons

I've been with Martin brower for 5 years and I've had the chance to work at a couple different locations. Over all the management are immature and incapable of taking feedback seriously. They hire compleTe losers all people of questionable moral fortitude. The work life balance is non existant you are constantly working too hard and too llong. Injuries are an inevitability, the management will force you to work too hard and your constantly under the threat of being fired. The insider politics game is rife and corrupt. There is absolutely no fair ness at all here. The schedules for anyone with less then 10 years are always evenings and weekends and you will have no life and lose your will to live. Never have I been more harassed or degraded then I have in this company. It feels like prison or some weird sect. Alas you will be lured by the money and pigeon holed before you know it and you'll be dying a little inside everyday. Martin brower is the worst thing that's ever happened to me.
