      My paycheck was about it.

      Marvell needs a new CEO - he AIN'T no Steve Jobs - his so-called technical "genius" has NOT deliver product wins beyond storage. The atmosphere is hostile in almost all functional areas within the company - too much politics, no work life balance, hasty, bad decisions from upper management, no respect for individual employees, no career development or growth prospect, and random firing of employees with bad or no package. It's a MEAN company!! I'd not recommend joining unless you want to ruin your reputation or don't want job security over the long term.

      used to have free meals, which was convenient many extremely smart people in the company working with intelligent and knowledgeable people many tools available

      Cons

      - low salary - many managers are technically compenent but lack management experience or even basic people skills. - while there are good managers, there are also extremely bad managers who obviously favor certain engineers over others and do not show respect to everyone equally. - company culture is too asian -- cases of people speaking in their native language in meetings where other english-only speakers are present. -- working long hours sometimes are not appreciated as a putting extra effort but accepted as normal and excepted.
