Company, and parent company, top management seem to make sweeping internal decisions with little effort into tracking down what really needs to be done and how it will affect employees. Execs are full of entitlement feelings and well insulated from reality by underlings scared to lose their jobs. Expensive inefficiency is rampant throughout the company. Major projects are many and seem to change focus often. Compensation is lower than average and most employees work long hours in a constant state of uncertainty about their future with the company. The company has relocated its HQ to another city nearly an hour drive away, which was an expensive decision with no apparent benefit other than to tap into a more “talented” labor pool.
