      Pros

      If you are not really qualified in your chosen field, and you enjoy fawning over senior management that is similarly qualified, then Merillat is the place for you.

      Cons

      It is the only place I have ever worked where hard work and dedication are kicked to the curb while whining, incompetent, sycophants rise to the top.

      Pros

      Decent benefits package. On site fitness center.

      Cons

      Raises/bonues based on how much your boss likes you as opposed to high performance. Morale is very low at this time due to lack of opportunities. High performers end up moving onto other companies.

      Pros

      Masco is fairly good on work life balance. They understand that people generally have a life away from work and are accommodative on time off and professional development.

      Cons

      Communication is poor and the "top-down" organizational structure makes it difficult to understand what the strategic vision of the company is. Thus, on a day-to-day basis, its hard to see how your work is relevant, and you don't really feel like you're making a difference or your position is important.
