good "worker bees" at the entry-level location is convenient HR group supportive of employees with events, etc.
Cons
~too many chiefs - all white guys - some asian folks in IT tho.... If you're a highly educated, skilled woman, this is not the company for you. ~Jr-college corp - two years, and you're ready to graduate to a real company. turn-over is high. ~Sr. mangement and corporate org. suffers from title inflation. Too many Sr. VPs, Sr. Executive VPs, Sr. Directors, Sr. director, bla, bla. Most of these guys (guys) are not managing or directing anyone or anything -- in a regular company -- these men would be analysts or supervisors at most. Title in lieu of pay? No, title to set yourself up for your next job. ~infrastructure - systems, processes, project management, documentation, intranet, methods, practices are all old, badly implemented, the business technology is old. They have the money to make it better, but Sr. mgmt suffers from the "I'm good" syndrome when it comes them actually using technology, many actively resisting anything that would force them to learn something new, do something themselves, or move their butts out of their comfortable chair. (Can't we get one of the GIRLS to enter it in Agile???) Why would my MBA waste time with a company or an executive who thinks an MS project schedule or sharepoint site is too complicated?
