MGH is full of really smart, talented people who are driven and dedicated to their professions. Even though there are 4 parts to the mission statement (i.e. research, teaching, patients and community), when it comes down to it, we're here to help others. What makes it different from other hospitals is that one has much more resources to get things done.

MGH promotes an environment that enhances employee’s job satisfaction. They are open to not only providing the best for our patients but also for their employees. Employees are evaluated every year and given raises according to their performance. It is the only places I have worked that make evaluations a positive growing experience. They are one of the top 100 places to work according to AARP, Working mothers. I am still having fun going to work every day.
