-Numerous opportunities to grow as a teacher through leadership/teacher lead positions -Professional Development dates on calendar so staff can receive training to further their education -Collaboration between colleagues is wanted daily -Time for teachers/staff to PLAN during the school day/professional development days -Grading/report card grading is completed during teacher time (other school districts make you do this on your own time) -Salary is higher than the average school district, and Mastery is performance based which means you get RAISES and PROMOTIONS based on your outstanding performance -Feedback on your instructional performance is given daily/weekly, which makes you grow constantly as a teacher

Cons

-Our population of students can be difficult. Students come with a lot of baggage. But teachers and stuff make such a positive impact on their lives that it is VERY rewarding.
