The work load is impossible. You're constantly burning your candle at both ends. Just when you think you don't have another thing to give, you are given another task. They don't hire enough substitutes, you are expected to give up your planning and free time to cover. The implemented discipline plan is not one that works. Lots of things are ignored and swept under the rug. There are a lot of inconsistencies with regard to direction. Lunch is about 15 minutes and you're right back at it. You may get 2 planning periods, but they are generally consumed with meetings. I think that I'm a GREAT teacher but I'll be the first to admit, I cannot live up to the standards and expectations of Mastery. God bless anyone who can.

Pay is okay at first but pay raises (especially good ones) are minimal. According to senior staffers, it is not uncommon to go years without getting a raise.
