Pros

Nothing because the cons all outweigh any of the pros

Cons

Policies are never written down and that is on purpose so there is no accountability and management can get away with anything and you can't protect yourself because nothing is written down. That includes, sick day and especially this year during Covid, any policy regarding working from home or remote. Company wide email was sent that our health and safety was their number one priority but as soon as people actually got sick and requested to work from home, you were either asked to take vacation or make it up some other day even though you are WORKING from home. But that all depended on who management has biases towards certain employees so some people are forced to take vacation, some didn't. It's a pretty toxic work environment where information is very tightly bottle necked but things get out anyway through rumors, which isn't great either. Covid really opened up my eyes to see what this company really cares about and it's never about the employees. If you're thinking about working here, please look elsewhere. It is not worth your time and emotional trauma you will inevitable go through.

Pros

Pay is decent but also in line for industry

Cons

joe (the ceo) has fired people for forgetting coasters, forgetting notepads, not apologizing the way he wants them to, being pregnant, getting covid, to make room to hire sons of men he knows, to hire men from his alma mater, because they took a long lunch with their boss, because they wouldn’t work 10 hour days 10 days in a row and needed a Sunday afternoon off, and many many more reasons that have nothing to do with work performance. These are just off of the top my head. On your first day here people will talk about Joe’s rules and how to not rock the boat. They involve anecdotal warnings that seek fake and are absolutely true. It’s a truly toxic place to work and is led by an egomaniac.

Pros

The only pro is that they’ll pay you good enough to make it hard to ever consider leaving.

Cons

There’s a laundry list of things you could say about this company that would have kept me away. Joe is one of them most randomly temperamental people I’ve ever seen. Literally anything could set him off on any single day. Upper management has to handle him with kid gloves in fear of being fired. Management doesn’t fight for the employees below them to not go against the grain, just trying to keep things going smoothly. In terms of covid times, Joe could go do whatever he wanted while he scrutinized every move his employees made from where you’re going, how you would travel there, and then would accordingly tell you how many extra PTO days you would have to take even though you only have a strict number of PTO days. Just remember this, you’re just a pawn to this company and they will replace you without skipping a beat.
