      Pros

      Great co workers, decent benefits. Matheson is a growing company. The benefits package is a decent one, provided it doesn't get cut down anymore. The schedule does provide a good work/life balance.

      Cons

      Health insurance is getting worse each year, average compensation is not exactly up to industry standards for hourly employees. At my site if you're not in the clique you won't advance, your annual cost of living raise is tied to performance evaluations so if your boss doesn't like you, you won't get one.

      There are very few, use to have decent overtime not anymore

      Cons

      Management has huge disconnect with workforce. No response from upper management on new ideas. Ageing workforce that just wants to show up until they have to retire. Extreme under staffing at all locations. Turnover is crazy high...except for under achievers they never leave....

      Excellent starter company to gain experience to allow upward mobility elsewhere quickly.

      No growth opportunity for minorities."the dead end "job is alive and well for you. Diversity is nonexistent and will never be enforced "Inherently superior" mentality displayed in management levels Human Resources has NO authority and does not represent the associate Middle management somewhat Works in fear Sr mgmt displays a "cowboy-like" mentality Upper mgmt appears to not care about the associate
