Didn't have a real sense of direction or strong leadership on where the company was headed. Wanted to do everything and only excelled in a few core areas. Local leadership was very poor, they hired a few people that bounced around and listened to ideas they had. These new ideas took them away from their core skills and offerings, which ultimately hurt them.

Inexperienced managers leads to disorganization and poor communication.
