In my 15 years of corporate life, working in a wide range of companies from startup to massive tech companies, this is the single worst company I have ever worked for. Read those reviews. The leadership is the issue. Not the product or use applications. I opted to be unemployed vs be there a minute longer than I needed to be.

Maybe it's because I'm comparing Matterport to the environment from which I came, but I could not be happier with the culture and environment provided by the Matterport team. It certainly feels like the company is headed in the right direction and there is an energy and light-heartedness that is felt in a very positive way.

Cons

I would like my team to do more as a team. While the energy is great, I would like to feel closer to my teammates and I feel the best way for that is for a few more "coffee talks." kick back from the computer for 20min and take a break as a team - either offsite or on - to chat about anything that's on our minds.

confusion of what are priorities. stop/start of projects due to changes in priorities Marketing gets bullied by product management Regions emboldened to do what they want with no consequences "boys club" mentality in several parts of company
