Strange and Stressful Experience

Pros

This is a company that people who get laid off from other tech firms come to work for, so you gain the benefit of each other's experience. The core technology has potential.

Cons

Too much theory and not enough common business sense. Too much planning and not enough doing. Major emperor's new clothes syndrome going on with the technology, it was innovative 10 years ago but needs to evolve to remain relevant. People are hired and not even clear on their job descriptions. Roles are not clear, which impacts collaboration. Internal communication is horrible. Record financial results are reported each quarter, then everyone is holding their breath wondering who will be laid off next.
