      Pros

      Wacky, zany, super duper geniuses! Functioning toilets. Roof. Mess hall, with decent food when the warden budgeted enough for everyone. No physical fighting. Air conditioning, and heating when necessary. A few windows. Generous family visit time. Laundry service for the jumpsuits.

      Cons

      Seriously, VR is dead. This company feels like a SparkFun tutorial that got funded during the last round of nonsense Silicon Valley venture capital frothiness. If you’re going to work in tech, go somewhere that has a future. At the very least find a company with a plan that doesn’t involve dwelling on the achievements of 2012.

      Pros

      The interview process was speedy, and with varied members of the organization both in Chicago and in California. Might be a good first-inside job opportunity.

      Cons

      Boiler room. If you thrive in a boiler room environment, have I got a place to recommend in downtown Chicago. Next to zero inbound traffic at that time.

      Pros

      Matterport is a great, fast-growing company with awesome and smart people. Good work environmetn and culture plus new and extiting technologies that open a lot of learning oportunities. Management is supportive and easy to work with. Good benefits and perks: free lunch, game room and laundy servise.

      Cons

      Don't have any cons, Matterport truly is one of the best companies I've ever worked at. Happy to be a part of it.
