Pros

I joined Maven Clinic during one of the most unprecedented times (during the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak). I was onboarded remotely, and have yet to step foot in the office or meet the team in person. Despite all of that, I feel like I truly belong! My manager, my team, the executive leadership, and the company as a whole are super welcoming and incredibly thoughtful. Every person I have gotten to work with over the past few months is mission driven, smart, personable and creative. It's pretty special that the company is able to get through a time like this stronger and more connected, and it speaks a lot for the culture and leadership.

Cons

not a con for me, but perhaps for some: it's a small company and teams are lean - you have to be willing to wear a lot of hats, deliver on your work, and think outside the box!

- All departments truly work as a team to achieve company goals, but from my experience, managers also trust their teams to work autonomously. I came from a work situation where I was constantly being micromanaged, so Maven has been very refreshing in that sense! - Salary is competitive. - Transparency between my manager and the team is great. I always feel in the loop!

Cons

- No 401K match at the moment!

Pros

Where do I start.. the people who work here are extremely driven to provide the best services and products for their users. There's so much room for growth for the company as a whole and as an individual. There's a budget for personal learning and hobbies, lunch is paid for (up to a certain amount) once a week, and company outings are awesome. Everyone is on board with doing their best work!

Cons

The prioritization of certain teams that get projects isn't always equal, but I believe this is due to the difference in user base. We're currently moving forward to involving all possible teams for a task/project so that no one feels left out or feels as if they need to play catch up. Also, there's no 401K matching, but hope that's something to be added soon
