Pros

Can't think of a pro other than flexible schedule, which is why I worked for them.

Cons

HORRIBLE communication between the recruiters and the licensed staff. I worked with two different offices (at first I thought I was just at a bad location) and they were both awful. They lied to me about opportunities and pay raises that I never got, they would not do their job and then act like it was my fault, as an RN I got paid less than LVNs with other agencies, etc. I could go on, but the point is that if you are a nurse, you do not want to work for them. I quit as soon as I could.

Pros

No pros at maxim healthcare

Cons

They won’t train you for the shift you’re hired for low pay sketchy clients. If you report abuse they don’t do anything. Parents don’t have to follow the doctors orders. A lot of the parents get paid by granite state independent living so taking care of the disabled child is a transaction while they buy cigarettes and scratch tickets.

Pros

The people are great, all management included. Like they are incredible people, truly. From the nurses to the recruiters to the managers, everyone is incredible. They are amazing people in the Jacksonville office, without fail. They get their orders from up top which leads into the cons.

Cons

Unfortunately, Maxim as a corporation sucks, like truly. Low pay, borderline abusive way they treat their healthcare workers systematically (PTO and benefits), you will constantly have mistreated healthcare workers under you as a recruiter with nothing you are able to do to help even though you completely agree. It is extremely sad. They do care about the patients, but do not care about their own employees or healthcare workers, they only care about spread (Revenue) and patients (Revenue.) They just miss internal employees and healthcare workers.
