Weekly pay. Promote from within philosophy. Corporate has recently started recruiter lead programs and 13 week comprehensive training to get recruiters off to the right start. Each individual office obviously has different leaders, which contributes to the experience. Many large markets are merging their homecare and staffing operations which is creating alot more opportunity internally. Field support is being heavily invested in so that recruiters can recruit and scheduling and the other minutiae can be handled by field support staff. You have to build your network and relationships to do well in the industry, not just maxim. If you are not willing to do so, than it is not the right industry for you. The base salary was just increased, and weekly commissions are paid out based off of the office's production. PTO is competitive. benefits are BCBS and competitive.

Cons

on call, depending on your market, can be very busy or very dull- either way on call isnt fun but again it is part of it.

Pros

Nice staff members. Able to work private duty, flu clinics, and wellness clinics. Large company with additional opportunities available.

Cons

Training upon hire needed a lot of improvement. When working private duty, was not told in advance holidays were paid at the regular rate. Also, was not told in advance that training and inservices are paid at minimum wage.

Very poor place to work, Some of the office staff are very wonderful people, but 90% don't so their Job!

Loved my patients, and the families I worked with. Wouldn't have traded them for anything, just wish they Nurses would understand what the pts and families true needs are.

Cons

Hipaa is a big thing in Healthcare this place is Horrible with helping keep Hipaa laws followed when it comes to Pt privacy.
