Maxim Recruiter, The clown shoes of recruiter positions!
Pros
Gaining some recruiting experience straight out of college is a plus but don't plan to stay long, get paid for all the hours you work, and get any type of encouragement from managers. Blowing smoke is a profession at this company and they have plenty of professionals. Average lifespan for a recruiter is 9 months!!!!!!
Cons
Leadership is awful. No support from anyone so plan to help yourself. On-call is terrible and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. You will have a consistent burst of nurses calling out of their shifts at any and all hours of the night (with any excuse imaginable), angry parents that shoot the messenger, and plenty of time to worry about who is or is not going to call. If you have any type of anxiety problems, this is not the job for you. If you like to work a ton of hours and not get paid for the work that you put in then you have found the right place to work.
