Pros

Beats being homeless, entry level

Cons

Terrible pay, base salary is less than recruiters and they get commission but we dont. Toxic work environment, insane workload, underappreaciated for how vital we are to the company.

Pros

Maxim (espically this position) can serve as a stepping stone early in your career, offering exposure to a fast paced healthcare staffing environment. It’s best approached as a short term learning opportunity rather than a long term role. Would only recommend it for that, if you have nothing else. Because of the amount of time spent in the office (40+ hours a week), you do tend to build close relationships with coworkers.

Cons

There is no guaranteed work from home option, which depends entirely on office leadership, performance, and area. Pay is very low, and raises or bonuses are tied to office numbers rather than individually. Benefits are below average. The work culture can be extremely toxic, with frequent gossip about coworkers. Mistakes are often addressed or shown publicly through office wide emails, leaving little room for privacy or constructive feedback. Additionally, interactions with clients and patients can be very difficult. It is common to be spoken to rudely, yelled at, or disrespected.. even when you are doing your best to help. This making the role emotionally exhausting and demoralizing over time.

Pros

Entry-level job for recent college grads that need work experience

Cons

Low pay compared to how much is expected of you. Benefits are not that great for how expensive it is. A lot of cold calling (basically nonstop from 8am-5pm). All managers care about are hitting numbers so they can get their bonus. I'm not convinced they care at all about the people working under them (even if they claim they do). Complete lack of professionalism in the office from managers, who are quick to throw the book at someone else to make themselves look better.
