Pros

Working with kids daily and seeing their growth and improvements is very heartwarming and makes the job worth it, despite how draining it could be at times.

Cons

You're thrown in an environment that you are not thoroughly trained for so you learn to handle each situation as you go. Pay could be better also especially if you have years of experience working with children with disabilities

Pros

They’ll give you the hours, but won’t really care about patients or performance. Good compensation.

Cons

Supervisors are likely not going to be professional, I had one retaliate on me when I had too many questions for a kid who was going to “graduate” the company but could not communicate at all still. Yet the data and programs said they were fluent in their AAC device. No support in getting certified. Rude management when interviewing.
