Pros
I was a temp for four months after the four week training I was hired in at 16.97 in Michigan once working there for a year hired in I started to receive 17.45 per hour you have weekly meetings with your lead , a monthly meeting with your lead to go over call miner , pcp choice rate, adherence, attendance & violations If you have any . Training only shows you how to use CRM champs bridges wdct and use the DR reference when you start answering calls you really don’t know how to answer any of the questions and might struggle to find answers in the DR forcing u to call the lead line and some leads have more info than others . They monitor every move you make on your screen and every response you give beneficiaries . It’s pretty petty at times because no matter how good you are and the good information you give & how quick you resolve issues they will find something to prevent you from getting that quarterly bonus . Customers can be sweet as pie or evil enough to make you lose focus . Whenever the state makes new changes to Medicaid it makes callers upset . they leave our number on the paper to call if they have any questions . When they call us we tell them our system is read only & to contact mdhhs . It’s impossible for callers to get through to mdhhs and that isn’t our concern .the system frequently crashes creating more difficulties for us & callers leading to more verbal abuse and disappointed callers. The job is what you make it to be honest , but for that amount of money I believe I can do better & I understand why the turnover rate is really high . Schedule shift bids go in quarterly but if you’re not a fav you’ll most likely get the worst shifts lol you could be promised another role and told you don’t qualify due to a lil mishap you’ve had that month with their scoring system. and you must submit your own time sheets weekly to get paid on time. At the end of the day it was a job I just feel that people definitely should be paid more and have access to more tools to better serve the callers. information is very limited and we know practically nothing lol we are just winging it lol, these days you could flip a burger for the same wage.
Cons
Too many things you’re monitored on , not enough tools to solve problems
