Pros

Good mission, great teams and company culture, good amount of vacation time, good work/life balance.

Cons

Pay was too low given the bonus and stock options are inadequate. Company signed up for too many ventures without hiring more people and priorities were shifting constantly to the new shiny toy. Not a lot of opportunity to advance past a certain point.

Pros

Love working at May. Many very driven and intelligent engineers working here all challenging the norm. While working at a start up can be challenging with changes and uncertainty the other directors and senior managers do their best to guide the teams. With being under 300 people I feel I can still make an impact where if I was at a larger company I would just be a number.

Cons

Some of the c-suite seems out of touch with the reality on the ground. They have been told this and are getting a bit better.
