Pros

There used to be free lunch, not any more, we use to have benefits, not anymore, nothing else I can think of.

Cons

Poor management, lack of leadership and knowledge on how to do things, leadership keeps pushing for the wrong goals and to unreasonably milestone. Managers here are don’t even know how to do the job in the first place, 0 experience as engineers or managers in the past. Lot of layoffs. Management does not tolerate if you are telling them that they are wrong even with the data to back it up. Dangerous vehicles with bad batteries inside, I saw and hear about fumes coming from the batteries on this vehicles, be careful. If you’re a mechanical or electrical engineer, you will be lay off in a near future, go somewhere else where you can actually be valuable.

Pros

Brand new industry allows you to create new industry standards. Great nitro brew coffee

Cons

I have witnessed and also been a victim of harassment, retaliation, and a hostile work environment. When efforts to bring up safety and legal concerns, they are met with hostility and blame for those who bring up issues unless you are from a small select group of individuals. It’s clear this company values their “in-crowd” vs employee and public safety. Here are some experiences I’ve heard from others as well: -AV driver was brandished a knife by a rider and was told to continue their shift -There was a fire at a site and AV drivers were not told about it till weeks later -People have brought up about AVs driving erratically and was told it was more of the operators fault instead of running due diligence on safety -One site leaders brought up safety issues and was told they “are not a team player” and “should probably look for another job”
