Pretty good place to work, unsure about long term because of turnover
Pros
The people are amazing, I have made many long term friends here and everyone genuinely cares for your well being. Benefits are pretty good, and the smaller things like having comfortable chairs, standing desks, and nap rooms are a definite plus. It's also incredible how much of an impact one person can have, if you want to take charge on something and make a big difference, you can. The environment is also pretty relaxed, you can sit with the CEO and drink a beer during lunch if you wanted to. People complain about transparency but they are usually the same people that don't check their emails, I think it's fine and any real questions I have are always answered, even the "hard" ones.
Cons
The impact one person can have is also a big con, too many things are centralized on a few people, and when they leave, a lot of stuff can and does get dropped to a point where people who start already have a massive backlog of work. I also find management is a bit too lenient on some people who obviously aren't pulling their weight, causing more work for other people. The culture of working late and working weekends is also unfortunate, but not widespread, and there is a lot of burnout. There is a focus of "one person doing many jobs" when hiring, and I feel that it isn't a great long term strategy. Managers that are joining also don't really have a lot of context with the culture of the company and make decisions based on the company they used to work for, not the one they work at now.
