Pros

Mayo provides wonderful benefits for its employees, job security is stellar, some of the people who work here are the best in their fields.

Cons

As a contractor, you don't get access to really any benefits, the pay for contractors is low taking into consideration that you don't have benefits. The trajectory for upward career advancement is limited due to competition and low transition of upper level managers.

Pros

Opportunities for learning are awesome. Tuition reimbursement has allowed me to continue my education and advance my career. Compensation packages are reasonable.

Cons

Parking is an issue! We live in a cornfield and have to ride a bus from a Wal-Mart parking lot! Communication in such a large institution is sometimes marginal and recognition is limited.
